This program compliments our current display “Preserving the Bounty of Summer: Canning through the Ages”.
This class is designed for the beginner or for anyone who has had an interest in canning, but didn’t know where or how to start. The class will consist of a presentation of canning basics, safe practices, and appropriate equipment along with a hands on pickling demonstration. Each participant will get to take home a jar of produce that she or he canned.
Register today for a special class on an introduction to canning and pickling; to be delivered in partnership with the Master Food Preservers of the WSU Extension Office.
